Did y’all watch the VMAs last week? While I am an enthusiast of many kinds of music, pop music will always have a very special place in my heart. I love it, I live for it, the music, the videos, the drama, the sass. I can’t help myself. I was that kid who set up my stuffed animals to perform Mariah Carey concerts and created and sold fake concert tickets at age 6. I have always loved pop music, and what goes along with that better than award shows?! The VMAs is where I saw Justin Timberlake’s first solo performance in 2002, and in 2009 I realized just how incredible talented Lady Gaga is.
Now that I have an eye for people’s makeup, I find that I am always checking out the contours, shadows and lips of the VMAs attendees, and T Swift’s flawless makeup instantly drew my attention. So, I have recreated it! I loved creating this look on the fly, and loved the looks I got throughout the day even more. The only person to compliment my look, aside from my sweet boy, was the dry cleaner. He was very impressed and I thought it was so sweet that he took a moment to let me know how beautiful he thought my eyes were :p
