Mini Haul * Wal Mart

I must admit that I am more of a Target gal but today I went to my local Wal Mart with my sights set on a particular product – the Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer. As far as I know this brand is only sold at Wal Mart so I scooted on over there after work to snag it. While I was there, I obviously had to peruse the aisles for more makeup goodies. Here’s what I picked up!

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer in shade #312 Light $6.00

I recently read that this concealer is comparable to a Makeup Forever concealer which is about three and a half times as expensive as this little guy. I’m not sure if I will be using the pencil that comes with it but I might as well give it a shot.

L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara in Blackest Black $7.97

The wand on this mascara is botjh mildly terrifying but also intriguing. I am curious to see what this mascara does to my lashes – the claim is that it will lengthen, stretch and volumize the lashes to the outer corner. Volume is my number one requirement with mascaras, the rest is just a bonus.

L’Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum $19.97

I finally bit the bullet and purchased a serum. My skin is Normal – Dry and this harsh New England Winter is doing a number on my skin. Paying almost $20 for this product took a lot so I am hoping it improves the hydration in my skin and I cannot wait to try it out.

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser $5.94

Hallelujah I finally found this product! I have been searching high and low for it since it was released and today was my lucky day. This primer has been compared to Benefit’s Porefessional and claims to blur the look of pores without clogging them. I have some pesky pores around my nose area so we will see if this product lives up to it’s claims.

Trim Scissors & Comb $4.97

Okay, I know that the packaging says these tools are for mustaches and beards but I promise the back says they’re also suitable for eyebrows! My brows have been a real challenge for me but I am starting to face my fears and not only lightly fill them in but also groom them (who teaches their kids this skill?! Certainly not my mother who had plucked her brows into oblivion as a teen). Thanks to YouTube I am able to delve into the mysterious world of brow maintenance.

Comment down below if you’d like to see reviews of any of the products I mentioned above. I will be putting them to work asap and will most likely share my opinions without provocation, but knowing what readers want to see doesn’t hurt! I also hope to have a YouTube channel up shortly with tutorials, hauls & favorites so stay tuned!
