This month’s box of goodies is an excellent one! A glowy primer, some skin care, a liquid bronzer, a (pretty meh) cult favorite mascara & a lovely perfume. I can report that the SPF, primer and bronzer are all very nice. The perfume is nicely scented without being too much and the mascara is fine. Not my number one but it’s ok. Let me know how you like this kind of video, if at all!
Even though my love for getting ready for a night out is deep and true and pure and I like to take my time, that certainly doesn’t always happen. This video is case in point and rears it’s head towards the end as I am delicately clutching a lash letting the glue get tacky while highlighting my face… listen, it’s real life and I know we have all been there. I really, really like the way the makeup turned out even though getting there wasn’t the most relaxing experience of my life.
Let’s talk about the palette itself for a second, shall we? Shaaanxo has become a serious addiction for me over the last, I don’t know, maybe year. I watch her daily vlogs, regular beauty videos and follow her on Snapchat. I find her to be super talented, refreshingly honest, hardworking and also happens to be a dime. So when she released this palette, it was a no-brainer…I needed it and I needed it yesterday.
The Good: As I mention in the video, many of the shadows remind me of Makeup Geek shades, which isn’t a bad thing. The colors are pretty and work well together. They especially come to life with some Fix+ spray.
The Bad: I do have a couple complaints, however. I had a lot of fall out the first few times I used the shadows and still experience mild fall out but that’s not a deal breaker. I also wish there was a more neutral transition shade, as the mustard shade is a bit bright on my light skin for day to day wear. If there was a brown I would probably never use another palette again. The lipsticks are beautiful but do not appear in the lips as they do on the pan.

A couple of week ago I filmed this GRWM for a lunch date! I intended to go very light but you’ll see, it did not happen. The photo used for this post was from another date, as I genuinely didn’t have enough time to snap any pics for this post! But it is from a lunch date I had with my sister, hence the smile on the face.

Hi you guys! I’m back! If you didn’t know, I took a little break because I just wasn’t feeling it. And I didn’t want to film or do anything relative to YT, but I think that breaks are good! I was also sick, and I traveled to see my sister to be her date to the Marine Ball so the past couple weeks have been busy. Anyways, I posted on my Facebook just letting people know I was feeling uninspired, and the outpouring of love I got blew my mind. The support was unreal, and there was no way I could walk away from something I not only enjoy, but it turns out that it brings joy to others, too! 🙂
Here’s a little Get Ready With Me that I filmed the other day. I had just received my November Ipsy bag, so I used a bunch of those items in this look! Not going to lie, I couldn’t help myself and talked basically the entire time so it’s a long one. Love you guys!

For today’s look I used a couple Makeup Geek Duochrome eye shadows! I used a couple of the lighter, more user friendly shades this week at work but have been dying to get my paws on the darker shades, which I think pack more of a duochrome punch. In addition to the eyes I wanted to use a Colour Pop liquid lipstick – the color is stunning and totally fits the look, but they are a little drying (FYI!). If you have requests, let me know!
This base makeup has been my go to as of late and has been working like a dream! From the primer to the setting spray, it lasts a super long time and looks great even when I am ready to wash it off. Could be the Champagne Pop, who knows. I decided to do a chatty Get Ready With Me and boy oh boy, can I talk. I knew I had the gift of gab already but damn, I had to edit this video down and I still came out with about 20 minutes of footage! Grab a drink and settle in!
