I enlisted the help of my sweet boyfriend to do voice over for this sparkly holiday makeup look! He surprisingly knows a lot & always manages to buy me super rad makeup as gifts. This video also kicks off the holiday season for my channel! I love a good bit of glitter paired with a red lip & this time of year is the perfect excuse. Enjoy!

Hey guys! I was genuinely kind of in a rush had to do my makeup, no time to play around. I had to go with a standby look so I obviously stuck with neutrals and a cat eye, topped off with a festive Sox red lip! Even though we lost, I still had a pretty silly time drinking Sam’s Summer, wolfing down a Fenway Frank and dancing to alllll the up-at-bat songs. I have listed the products below! xoxo

EX1 Foundation – 100 AND Makeup Forever HD – 117
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer – Light Neutral

As far as holiday makeup looks go, this one is fairly straight-forward – it’s all about a red lip, gold, fluttery lashes & glowy skin. It’s kinda my version of makeup heaven. This look can be achieved with things you probably already have in your collection & can be adapted to your features. Want to do a cat eye? Be my guest. Want to skip that nose highlight? Good on ya. Don’t feel like applying lashes? Do ya thing, girl! (or guy!) All I ask is that you enjoy yourself, cause that’s what makeup is all about.
Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm
Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation – 100 Ivory
Taylor Swift’s makeup is always on point. That girl has been flawlessly rocking a red lip pretty much on the daily for a couple years now, so she’s living the dream. Her latest video is no exception…glossy red lip, cat eye + simple skin. I recreated the look using all drugstore products, all things that you can easily pick up at Target, CVS, Rite Aid, wherever! Taylor’s video will be down below as well so you can check out what may be her most artsy creation yet.
For this look, I practiced what I preach…I was bold + went outside my comfort zone! I was watching a Jaclyn Hill tutorial recently + she was wearing lashes by a brand called Lashes by Lena. They. Were. STUNNING! On JH’s big, beautiful eyes they looked so soft and lush. And there was a coupon code. Queue me racing to the website to buy my very own pair of Bianca style lashes. In the box, they don’t look like anything insane. But on my tiny eyes, oh honey! They are a commitment. I was shocked when I applied them. I was tempted to take them off but then I thought, screw it, let’s just finish off the look + see how I feel. And let me tell you, I ended up loving them. I wore them for the rest of my day, including a stare-filled trip to the grocery store (they don’t bite, people!). Once I trimmed them to fit my eye size, they were great. But every time I looked down, I could definitely notice them on my eyes + I could feel them. Maybe it’s just my inexperience with lashes, who knows, but I will definitely be pulling them out for special occasions in the future.
In addition to a big, fluttery lash I went for glowy skin, cause who doesn’t want that?! Using light infusing primers, a damp sponge + cream products help to accomplish a lovely, healthy dewiness. For the lips I chose an insanely long wearing liquid lipstick by Stila in the shade Beso. You can easily adapt the look + use whatever colors your heart desires!
I planned on doing a voice over for this, however, our family suffered the loss of most adored feline friend + I just can’t bring myself to record something. I have instead used music from a Christmas EP I recorded last year with my boyfriend as the soundtrack + have listed all the products below + in the description box. Please give all your loved ones, both human + furry, lots of hugs, kisses and cuddles and tell them every single day how much you treasure them.
This look is your classic holiday makeup, complete with a long lasting red lip + lots of shine.
Can we take a second to bask in the gloriousness (don’t even care that that’s not a word)
of all that is the Blank Space music video? I think it’s hilarious, well put together and of course, THE OUTFITS! THE MAKEUP! Taylor, be still my heart! My favorite song off the album has been brought to life in such a beautiful, playful way. So naturally, I had to do a tutorial doing one of the looks. They’re all essentially the same – bold cat eye + some shade of red lip with a contour and matte skin. The one I chose to do features a more raisin lip + what looks like some cool gray smoked out on the lower lash line + on the lid. I kept it drugstore for you guys this time around, let me know if you’d like more of that!
